BIOGRAPHY OF TAN SRI MUHYIDDIN YASSIN:
Introduction:
Haji Muhyiddin bin Haji Muhammad Yassin was born on 15 May 1947 as Mahiaddin bin Md Yasin is a Malaysian politician and the former 8th Prime Minister of Malaysia. He was appointed on 29 February 2020 and took the oath of office on 1 March 2020 after the unexpected resignation of the 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad on 24 February 2020. He resigned as Prime Minister of Malaysia on 16 August 2021. He is from Bandar Maharani, Muar, Johor Darul Ta'zim.
Education:
He got his early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Maharani and Sekolah Kebangsaan Ismail (English school) as well as Government English School in Muar (secondary school). He then continued his studies at the University of Malaya in 1968 and successfully obtained a Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in Economics and Malay Studies (1970).
