STEP 2 : PROBLEM SOLVING BY TAN SRI MUHYIDDIN YASSIN

PROBLEM OR CHALLENGES THAT HAVE BEEN FACED BY SCHOLAR : COVID-19

The first case of COVID-19 in Malaysia appeared on Malaysian borders on January 25, 2020, when a traveller from China (travelling via Singapore) tested positive for the virus. This is where the outbreak of COVID-19 in Malaysia began. Since then, a new chapter in history has been written, unsettling the foundation of the country's public health system and ultimately putting the country's resiliency to the test. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was promoted
to prime minister during the pandemic to take care of Malaysia. So let's break down the problem.

What is the problem that scholar faced

The main problem that have been faced by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is covid-19. He was given the responsibility to manage the country in a state of chaos due to covid which our country has never experienced before.

When the problem happen

24 JANUARY - Eight Chinese nationals were quarantined at a hotel in Johor Bahru after coming into contact with an positive confirmed person in neighbouring Singapore. On January 25, it was determined that three of them were infected, and they were therefore quarantined at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor. On 4 February 2020,the first instance involved a Malaysian, a local man of 41 years old. The case patient is under quarantine at Sungai Buloh Hospital after just returning from a vacation to Singapore.

Who are involve in this problem

All malaysians are involved with the covid problem because it is an infectious disease and the rate of infection that we have and it can cause death. so all malaysians should join hands to eradicate or break the network of covid-19

Why the problem happen in Malaysia

Covid-19 started in Wuhan, China and began to spread throughout the country including Malaysia. This problem occurred due to the negligence of the people of China as well as the delay of the authorities in dealing with the covid issue in Malaysia at the beginning which caused the conversion of the covid-19 virus in our country. further because of the irresponsible attitude of a few selfish people without knowing the risk of covid-19 infection. Lastly the entry of people from China into Malaysia was the first factor that pushed the issue of covid-19 in Malaysia to happen.

How the problem happen

There are several factors or things that contribute to how this covid problem started or happened in malaysia. The first is a factor in terms of the tourism sector where this sector is still open to tourists to enter our country despite knowing that this covid issue has started in the country China, although tourists from China themselves are still allowed to enter our country, causing the existence of covid cases among the local population. Next, the increase in covid cases in Malaysia is due to Malaysians who are abroad returning to Malaysia. In addition, the lack of information or knowledge about covid is also a factor in the increase in covid cases in our country due to the fact that it is something new and has never been experienced before, the covid 19 network is slow to be decided, causing the country to get thousands of active cases in a day. Therefore, the people and also the government are slow to act in dealing with the covid issue in Malaysia. for example, the government was slow to make a decision to close the border to prevent tourists from abroad from entering Malaysia to prevent the spread of the covid 19 epidemic. And most of the people are indifferent to this covid issue because they do not know the risks that this virus brings. For example, there are still people who do not wear face masks and maintain social distancing
