 INTERVIEW WITH TS.DR. ROSHAHLIZA

We have choose one of our lecturer, Ts.Dr Roshahliza as a person that we want to ask her opinion about the problem and how the scholar solve the problem.

In this interview session,we get Dr Roshahliza's opinion. Firstly, for the Movement Control Order (MCO), she said we follow the way told by WHO and he said that MCO is a good and effective way for the virus not to spread worse. For the education sector during the MCO she thinks that students are not used to learning online because it is something new for them and many practical subjects cannot be done because they cannot learn face to face. Not only students are affected, but lecturers also need to explore new ways to teach because they are also instructed to create online teaching materials such as online classes, youtube, whatapps and so on. He further said that learning online is difficult because not all students have access to the internet or a laptop, causing many students to fall behind in their studies. 

In the employment sector, he thinks that when many workplaces are closed for too long, such as factories, then there is no profit or income, which causes some companies to try to reduce the number of employees because they cannot afford to pay salaries. During this MCO many were affected and lost their jobs and sources of income. Many productions could not operate causing many to lose their jobs. Not forgetting the students who are affected by their mother or father being laid off and having no other source of income. Although the MCO brought many shortcomings but it had to be implemented at that time because there was no cure or other means to control the situation regarding covid-19 which was increasing.With the presence of MCO, it can reduce the spread of covid-19 and can break the chain of covid-19.

Next, for the For the SOP and the MySejahtera application, the youth think that this SOP is seen to be successful in foreign countries to reduce the spread of covid-19, so we are also implementing it in Malaysiaas a guide to the people regarding precautionary measures.MySejahtera was created to help the Ministry of Health monitor the situation and condition of the people. Therefore, the Ministry of Health can act and control the situation according to the latest situation in order to reduce covid19 from continuing to spread.

Lastly for vaccine, Dr Roshahliza agreed to the use of the vaccine because she understands the need for vaccines. She said again that this vaccine can improve our body's immune system and he shared a story, when the husband and son was positive covid-19, Vaccine helps their body fight the covid-19 virus and can reduce the bad effects of covid-19. So she thinks this vaccine is one of the ways we try to fight this covid-19.
