REFLECTION

AIMAN - What I learned from this CID project is that it is essential to have great teamwork. It is opportunity to learn from others’ mistakes and not repeat those mistakes by myself. In my opinion, leader should be able to organise the team so that the product or outcome can be achieved while the others can voice their suggestion and will be taken into consideration. I also learned that a good leader should have good judgement for the future and make a decision based on it so there will not be trouble to complete the task.

NADZMI - After I'm doing this project with my group members.. i Get a lot of new info and knowledge.. i learned that every problem we face can be solve in good ways if we work together as a team and as a family..

AIDIL - i learned a lot.. one thing is that whatever decision we make, it not only has a good effect but also a bad effect.. however we still have to do it because it is the right thing to do..

FIKRI - A lot of things happen when doing the project. Everyone is playing the best role for each part and has done a great job. I’ve learnt a lot of new knowledge and stuff from them and i will make sure the knowledge doesn’t goes to waste. I’m proud that they do excellent work and hope their best for the future.

NOREEN - As I reflect on our project, I have discovered what it feels like to be proud of my self. I have learned a lot in this past few weeks. The most supervising thing I think I have learned is that I am capable of so much more than I thought.

SYUHADAH - After completing this assignment, I realised that no matter how large the issue, we can always find the best answer if we work together. To address challenges, we must also think extensively and deeply.

CONCLUSION

 CONCLUSION

From this scholar which is Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, we can conclude that he was a he has a very high leadership spirit. It can be proven by seeing him take over the duties of a prime minister at a time when Malaysia was in a state of chaos and uncontrollable due to the increasing number of covid 19 cases reaching thousands of new cases every day at that time. Next, he is also a brave and responsible person where he is ready to be the first person to receive the vaccine to encourage more Malaysians to take the vaccine to increase the body's immunity to fight the covid 19 virus. Finally, he has done a lot of service to the people by being a fair leader , brave, responsible and prudent eventhough the way or what he do to save Malaysia from covid 19 give an advantages and also disadvantages but he do the best that he can do. He should get a lot of respect from Malaysian. People can learn from the example of a person's responsibility, intelligent leadership and problem-solving skills are important to maintain security in the country. He taught us that perseverance and determination are key, and that thinking outside the box can lead to innovative solutions. He also worked hard to solve the problem. Furthermore, Tan Sri Muhyiddin's leadership can also be a source of inspiration, it shows that every hardship will definitely have its sweetness. His success is the best example of how an individual can keep the country safe and away from disease outbreaks.

STEP 5 : INTERVIEW WITH EXPERT

 INTERVIEW WITH TS.DR. ROSHAHLIZA

We have choose one of our lecturer, Ts.Dr Roshahliza as a person that we want to ask her opinion about the problem and how the scholar solve the problem.

Link of Interview video : Interview with expert video

In this interview session,we get Dr Roshahliza's opinion. Firstly, for the Movement Control Order (MCO), she said we follow the way told by WHO and he said that MCO is a good and effective way for the virus not to spread worse. For the education sector during the MCO she thinks that students are not used to learning online because it is something new for them and many practical subjects cannot be done because they cannot learn face to face. Not only students are affected, but lecturers also need to explore new ways to teach because they are also instructed to create online teaching materials such as online classes, youtube, whatapps and so on. He further said that learning online is difficult because not all students have access to the internet or a laptop, causing many students to fall behind in their studies.

In the employment sector, he thinks that when many workplaces are closed for too long, such as factories, then there is no profit or income, which causes some companies to try to reduce the number of employees because they cannot afford to pay salaries. During this MCO many were affected and lost their jobs and sources of income. Many productions could not operate causing many to lose their jobs. Not forgetting the students who are affected by their mother or father being laid off and having no other source of income. Although the MCO brought many shortcomings but it had to be implemented at that time because there was no cure or other means to control the situation regarding covid-19 which was increasing. With the presence of MCO, it can reduce the spread of covid-19 and can break the chain of covid-19.

Next, for the For the SOP and the MySejahtera application, the youth think that this SOP is seen to be successful in foreign countries to reduce the spread of covid-19, so we are also implementing it in Malaysiaas a guide to the people regarding precautionary measures.MySejahtera was created to help the Ministry of Health monitor the situation and condition of the people. Therefore, the Ministry of Health can act and control the situation according to the latest situation in order to reduce covid19 from continuing to spread.

Lastly for vaccine, Dr Roshahliza agreed to the use of the vaccine because she understands the need for vaccines. She said again that this vaccine can improve our body's immune system and he shared a story, when the husband and son was positive covid-19, Vaccine helps their body fight the covid-19 virus and can reduce the bad effects of covid-19. So she thinks this vaccine is one of the ways we try to fight this covid-19.

STEP 4 : CREATE OUR OWN PERSPECTIVE

From the discussion on how Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin solve the Covid 19 problem in Malaysia and we listed the advantages and disadvantages in T-chart.

As we know, during pandemic covid 19 we need to stay at home due to movement control order (MCO), all students need to learning using online platforms like Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and so on. This online learning processes required student to have a stability of internet connection to keep focus on what they learn and to still be in their study flow. But there are certain student outside the city usually have the problem with the internet connection due to network not working or not exist in their area. This problem will lead to decrease their performance in study because all work or classes need to attend and submit via online. From this T-Chart, we decided to choose one of the disadvantages and try to solve that advantages with our own idea and perspective. Limited internet network outside the city is our chosen problem that we would like to solve in our own way using SWOT method.

Disadvantages : Limited internet network outside the city

Problem from the disadvantages : The limited internet network in rural areas causes students' performance to decrease

Solution of problem : Build wifi substations in rural areas (outside city)

S.W.O.T.

Strength

Can expand the coverage (Coverage) of the internet outside the city

Weakness

High cost

Opportunity

Opportunity for students to access WIFI or internet easily

Threat

The country's economic spending is increasing

STEP 3 : HOW SCHOLAR SOLVE THE PROBLEM

HOW THE SCHOLAR SOLVE THE PROBLEM

The first solution done by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is to implement a movement control order (MCO) in which all Malaysians are not allowed to leave their homes for two weeks for the first phase which starts on 18 March 2020 to break the chain of covid 19. During the movement control order implemented many roadblocks are put in place to ensure Malaysians stay at home. During that period, only the head of the household is allowed to buy daily necessities at the supermarket in compliance with the rules set by the government. Most sectors are completely closed including the employment and education sectors. all work should be done from home only while learning activities are carried out completely virtually and exams are postponed. All shop premises are completely closed and the Malaysian border is closed. During this period, strict control can be seen in every area such as on the road and so on.

Next, the way to overcome the problem of covid 19 is to ensure that Malaysians follow the standard operating procedure(SOP), which is to avoid gathering in crowded places, chatting at close range and being in narrow places. In addition, people are advised to wash their hands frequently with soap and wear a face mask when leaving the house and to ensure that social distancing of 1 meter is maintained. Malaysians are also ensured to check their body temperature and scan the My Sejahtera QR code before entering the premises of the shop to facilitate the detection of close contacts. According to the SOP, only healthy people are allowed to go out while those with symptoms must immediately be quarantined for 14 days During pkpp, where people have been allowed to go out but are still advised to maintain SOP including in the education sector. For example, at school students are divided into several groups to attend school. this is to prevent students from gathering and violating the SOP. Students are also required to study with their desks 1 meter away from other students.

Next, the way to solve the problem of covid 19 is to create MySejahtera application. The MySejahtera application was also launched to make it easier for the Malaysian Ministry of Health to track those with symptoms and close contact with those who are positive or go to places with positive cases of covid 19. It also makes it easier for the Malaysian Ministry of Health to monitor the health of covid patients and make it easier for them to spread information related to covid 19 such as the number of daily cases and so on. This application also makes it easier for the Malaysian Ministry of Health to track those who are positive for covid 19.

Finally, during pandemic covid 19, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin decide to let Malaysian got vaccinated. He was also the first person to take the covid 19 vaccine because there were rumors that poisoned the minds of some Malaysians to take the vaccine. This vaccine is to increase the body's immunity to fight the covid 19 virus. Malaysians are required to take 2 doses of the vaccine. There are various types of vaccines brought to Malaysia such as Pfizer, Astrazeneca and sinovac. To get the covid 19 vaccine, Malaysians must register on the MySejahtera application and wait until an appointment is made.

T-CHART

From the way that Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin do to overcome covid-19 cases in Malaysia, there are several advantages and disadvantages of the solving.

STEP 2 : PROBLEM SOLVING BY TAN SRI MUHYIDDIN YASSIN

PROBLEM OR CHALLENGES THAT HAVE BEEN FACED BY SCHOLAR : COVID-19

The first case of COVID-19 in Malaysia appeared on Malaysian borders on January 25, 2020, when a traveller from China (travelling via Singapore) tested positive for the virus. This is where the outbreak of COVID-19 in Malaysia began. Since then, a new chapter in history has been written, unsettling the foundation of the country's public health system and ultimately putting the country's resiliency to the test. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was promoted
to prime minister during the pandemic to take care of Malaysia. So let's break down the problem.

What is the problem that scholar faced

The main problem that have been faced by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is covid-19. He was given the responsibility to manage the country in a state of chaos due to covid which our country has never experienced before.

When the problem happen

24 JANUARY - Eight Chinese nationals were quarantined at a hotel in Johor Bahru after coming into contact with an positive confirmed person in neighbouring Singapore. On January 25, it was determined that three of them were infected, and they were therefore quarantined at the Sungai Buloh Hospital in Selangor. On 4 February 2020,the first instance involved a Malaysian, a local man of 41 years old. The case patient is under quarantine at Sungai Buloh Hospital after just returning from a vacation to Singapore.

Who are involve in this problem

All malaysians are involved with the covid problem because it is an infectious disease and the rate of infection that we have and it can cause death. so all malaysians should join hands to eradicate or break the network of covid-19

Why the problem happen in Malaysia

Covid-19 started in Wuhan, China and began to spread throughout the country including Malaysia. This problem occurred due to the negligence of the people of China as well as the delay of the authorities in dealing with the covid issue in Malaysia at the beginning which caused the conversion of the covid-19 virus in our country. further because of the irresponsible attitude of a few selfish people without knowing the risk of covid-19 infection. Lastly the entry of people from China into Malaysia was the first factor that pushed the issue of covid-19 in Malaysia to happen.

How the problem happen

There are several factors or things that contribute to how this covid problem started or happened in malaysia. The first is a factor in terms of the tourism sector where this sector is still open to tourists to enter our country despite knowing that this covid issue has started in the country China, although tourists from China themselves are still allowed to enter our country, causing the existence of covid cases among the local population. Next, the increase in covid cases in Malaysia is due to Malaysians who are abroad returning to Malaysia. In addition, the lack of information or knowledge about covid is also a factor in the increase in covid cases in our country due to the fact that it is something new and has never been experienced before, the covid 19 network is slow to be decided, causing the country to get thousands of active cases in a day. Therefore, the people and also the government are slow to act in dealing with the covid issue in Malaysia. for example, the government was slow to make a decision to close the border to prevent tourists from abroad from entering Malaysia to prevent the spread of the covid 19 epidemic. And most of the people are indifferent to this covid issue because they do not know the risks that this virus brings. For example, there are still people who do not wear face masks and maintain social distancing
